







____________________________________________________ TASTING NOTES This wine presents an intense red colour with blue shades. The aromas are powerful and complex with a concentrated nose of cassis, plum and red fruit. Aged in French (95%) and American (5%) oak barrels of first and second use which gives this wine a certain nuance of vanilla and chocolate. ____________________________________________________ VINEYARDS The Cabernet Grapes in the reserve line are carefully selected from our special single vineyard (San Pablo) in the Uco Valley at 1.300 meters above sea level. ______________________________________________________VINES & VINTAGE During this harvest year the climatic conditions were a great advantage for the red grapes during their maturing period. The phenolic maturity and the accumulation of sugars were growing at the same pace, enabeling us to harvest the grape with an optimum ripenes. _____________________________________________________ VINIFICATION Both harvest and selection of grapes are done by hand, allowing for only the best quality of fruit to be used for the Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. A cold pre-maceration takes place 8ºC for 5 days to extract color and aromas. Fermentated in stainless steel tanks for approximately 10 to 15 days at 25 -28ºC. 100% malolactic fermentation done directly in new French (95%) and American (5%) oak barrels and aged for 13 months. _______________________________________________________ ANALYSIS Alcohol: 14 % Acidez Total: 5.8 g/l. pH: 3.55 |

____________________________________________________ TASTING NOTES Zolo`s Reserve Chardonnay 2006 presents an attractive golden color with light green tints. It has an intense aroma with hints of pear, peaches and apple combined with honey and vanilla from the French oak. On the palate it is complex and harmonious. ____________________________________________________ VINEYARDS Grapes are selected from a single vineyard, located in Tupungato (Valle de Uco) at 1.350 meters above sea level. The presence of sandy and aluvional soils and snowmelt from the mountains (drip irrigation) as well as the temperature range allow for an optimum development of the Chardonnay grapes. ______________________________________________________VINES & VINTAGE The 05-06 vintage presented higher maximum temperatures than other years and for longer periods of time. Relative humidity and summer precipitations were more intense than usual. This allowed an excellent maturity in the grapes. _____________________________________________________ VINIFICATION Fermented and Aged on lees during 8 months in new French oak barrels. 100 % malolactic fermentation. _______________________________________________________ ANALYSIS Alcohol: 14.2 % Acidez Total: 6 g/l. pH: 3.35 Residual sugar: 5.10 g/l. |

____________________________________________________ TASTING NOTES Zolo Malbec Reserve has an attractive intense violet colour typical of the Argentine Malbecs. Aromas of red berries and black fruits with a marked floral presence including touches of vanilla. Soft and lasting with mature and velvety tannins. ____________________________________________________ VINEYARDS Grapes are selected from the best vineyards at different altitudes in the Valley of Uco, between 1050 and 1.300 meters above sea level, which brings about a greater complexity of aromas in this interesting wine. ______________________________________________________VINES & VINTAGE The main characteristics of this vintage were due to a dry spring with high temperatures and frecuent Zonda Winds. Therefore irrigation was increased to obtain the adequate growth of the shoots, in some cases it was not enough to obtain a full canopy. During this harvest at the end of March , the rains affected some of the varieties from the Eastern area of the Province, but in the higher areas ( like the Valley of Uco) this favoured the vines and the harvest period was extended without affecting the sugar content. _____________________________________________________ VINIFICATION Both harvest and selection of grapes takes are done by hand, allowing for only the best quality of fruit to be used for the Reserve Malbec A cold pre-maceration takes place 8ºC for 3 to 5 days to extract color and aromas.
